Tarot Card Meanings

Finding good tarot card meanings isn't always easy. Even advanced students are always looking for new ways to look at their cards.

DruidCraft Tarot - Nine of Pentacles

Below you will find my meanings of the tarot cards. I have been taught in the Rider-Waite tradition. In my opinion there is no one true meaning of the cards. The only true tarot card meaning is your own. What you will find on the internet or in books is either the traditional meaning or the meaning the writer gives to the cards. Use them to complement your own but do not hold them for the truth. Your own truth is what counts.

I always encourage beginning readers to make their own set of meanings by practicing a lot and studying a lot of sources on and off line. By comparing "notes" we are able to develop our own view of the cards.

I hope that my card meanings can help you improve your readings. Personally I find other peoples interpretations very interesting because they always help me to stretch the way I look at a card. It makes me wonder... does it add something to my reading or not? Sometimes I even leave my reading for a while, sometime even for days because I have to chew on the new interpretation I have found. I hope that my set of interpretation will assist you in your readings.

I do not use reversed cards in my readings because I think that the set of upright cards holds enough meanings to tell me if something is difficult, undeveloped or delayed. I know that a lot of readers do use reversed cards so I've added keywords for the reversed cards but haven't made a full description of them.

Good luck!
