Meaning upright

Fulfillment of your wishes, satisfaction, everything is going right, getting what you wanted, law of attraction in manifestation mode, happiness from the inside out, self confidence, winning the first prize, creativity, generosity, recognition for what you do, being there for others, eating and/or drinking too much, laziness.

Meaning reversed

I never succeed, oh, that's me again, victimhood, they are all against me, sucking energy, not taking good advice, only looking at what is going wrong, pain, dissatisfaction, keeping everything for yourself, not sharing with others, taking off with the prize while others helped (taking all the credit), not able to receive.

The Nine of Cups in your reading

This card is often seen as predictor of blessings and fulfillment of wishes. The woman on this card sits between her feelings (cups) and is looking at you in a satisfied way. She is aware of her abilities and knows how to handle them. To make your wishes come true you often have to work very hard. Without action from your side, you will not get a good reaction from the Universe. Sometimes it looks as if others have good things happen for them but when you study them you will see that they work very hard for their outcome. You can see that "luck" isn't really a factor but that the directed action is the cause of their success.

If you never seem to reach your goals, why's that? What is your role in this whole situation? Do you have some clear set goals that are specific, measurable, acceptable, realistic and time-oriented (SMART)? Did you ask the right people to help you? Are you able to receive the good things happening to you or do you rather stay in the victim role of someone who never has a bit of luck? It is all your choice. Pay attention to the fact that luck always seems to bypass you.

This card can also point out that there are good things in your life already. Look at them with some appreciation and see that you are lucky already. Feel the gratitude that is connected to it. Sometimes we go through life so fast that we aren't even aware of everything that is right in front of our nose.
